Resilient Leaders & Food Security

Empower youth to understand the importance of food security and embrace diverse cultural practices

The Resilient Leaders & Food Security (RLFS) initiative, conducted in collaboration with Kanuikapono Public Charter School, has made remarkable strides since its launch. Engaging over 240 students in total, as well as parents and teachers across all grade levels, the program culminated in insightful presentations on diverse facets of food security. Topics ranged from culinary skills to artistic expression and traditional cultivation methods such as ku’i kalo. This underscores a steadfast dedication to fostering community empowerment and ensuring food security.
