After months of experiencing the Covid-19 shutdown, Kūkulu Kumuhana O Anahola (KKOA) will be featuring 2 films on Sunday, May 30 at the Ulupono Anahola site located at the corner of Kukuihale and Pilipoli Rd. You must register in order to enter the gate. (See link below) Itʻs an exciting evening that we have planned for you.
Gate will open at 5pm then you will drive pass 3 tents that will be giving out some resources for you as well as KKOA giving out popcorn, popcorn toppings and water. Kamehameha Schools and KKOA will have tents for you to drive by and pick up some resources. Hawaii Pacific Health will also have some information that Kamehameha Schools will be providing for all attendees.
All COVID guidelines will be enforced as well. Parking attendants will direct you to your spot and you can feel free to set up you mats and dinner to watch the movie.
We are very honored to have Kaliko Maʻiʻi doing live music while you enjoy your dinner and before the movie begins at sunset. This year we are doing something different to support our local restaurants. Instead of providing dinner we are asking you to purchase your dinner from one of our local restaurants, farmers, etc. Write your name on the back of your receipt and bring it with you to the movie. Every receipt will be put in for a drawing we will have for different prizes.
Space is limited inside the gates to 25 cars and you must be 6 feet away from the next vehicle. We also ask that you please remain in your area unless you are going to the bathrooms. We hope to see you there!! If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Richell Sweet at (808)635-0970.
